Your Clinic Visit

Our goal is to see you at your scheduled appointment time. That may not always be possible, but we try not to keep you waiting for more than 30 minutes. You can help by:

• Being on time. Check in at your appointment site 30 minutes prior to your actual appointment time.
• Bringing with you a list of all medications and over-the-counter drugs (including vitamins and herbal remedies) that you are currently using, including how much and how often you take them. This includes all VA-prescribed medicines as well as any you might take that have been prescribed by an outside doctor. If it is difficult for you to keep an list, just bring all your medicines in their bottles with you.
• Calling 903-4815 (or 1-888-716-7787) if you have to cancel or will be late.
• Coming early if you already know you need to have laboratory work or other tests done.
• Following any fasting or special instructions given to you prior to your laboratory test or special procedure.
• Bringing in results of your tests, and examinations performed at non-VA locations.
