Mission Statement
The James A. Haley Veterans' Hospital and Clinics strive for excellence as a primary, secondary, and tertiary academic health care center.
We aspire to provide high quality health care to our patient population which is timely, comprehensive with continual benefits and services to eligible individuals in an effecient, compassionate, and ethical manner. This includes a full range of preventative, rehabilitative and extended care, and promotes a broad base of research and education.
Vision Statement
We all want an institution that everyone is proud of, where we can derive personal growth and fulfillment, and where we can contribute individually and collectively to the highest level of health care for veterans. We believe that success and advancement are earned by hard work, perseverance, and meritorious effort. We want our collegues and associates to feel like respected, independent members of society and to have the benefits of committed and sincere care of the highest quality.
When we speak of the Tampa VA of tomorrow, we are describing a growing, mature, and professional environment which is capable of learning from its past and planning for its future.
